MENJAGA INTEGRITAS PROFESI: TANTANGAN DAN UPAYA MENGATASI PELANGGARAN KODE ETIK GURU

Abstrak

This study explores the critical role of the teacher code of ethics in guiding the behavior and morals of the teaching profession. Teachers are expected to perform optimally as teaching staff to help students towards better life goals. For this reason, a code of ethics is needed as a guideline so that teachers remain professional. This research also analyzes the factors that cause violations of the teacher code of ethics, including malpractice. Through the data collection method, namely literature study, this research discusses efforts that can be made to overcome violations of the teacher code of ethics, such as imposing sanctions, conducting training, and psychological tests. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of the teacher code of ethics as a foundation for teachers' activities in carrying out their professional duties in the field of education.
