PENGARUH HAMBATAN SAMPING TERHADAP KINERJA JALAN DAN BIAYA OPERASIONAL KENDARAAN (STUDI KASUS JALAN P. DIPONEGORO, WONOSOBO)

Side frictions can cause a decrease in traffic speed, which in turn causes traffic jams. The side barriers in question are pedestrians/pedestrians, parking/stopping vehicles, exiting/entering vehicles and slow vehicles. The biggest side resistance factor that causes congestion is the factor caused by parking of vehicles and vehicles going in and out. The decrease in vehicle speed due to congestion has an impact on increasing the time from the supposed travel time. When there is congestion in a lane, the loss of travel time is experienced by the drivers. Increasing urban BOK (vehicle operating costs) will result in an increase in congestion costs related to the value of urban community activities. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of side friction on road performance on the road section and compare the operating costs of these vehicles based on the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (MKJI). Based on the results of the analysis of the calculation of the degree of saturation value of 0.75, this figure is considered solid, so the speed produced by the vehicle is relatively slow. The degree of saturation of 0.75 has a service level index C: traffic flow conditions are still within stable limits, operating speeds arestarting to be limited and the obstacles from other vehicles are getting bigger. The amount of BOK when there are no side barriers is Rp. 98.36 per km while if there are side barriers the BOK becomes Rp. 118.29 per km so it can be concluded that the presence of side barriers can increase vehicle operating costs.
