PERAN ROH KUDUS DALAM KEHIDUPAN UMAT BERIMAN BERDASARKAN DOA-DOA LITURGIS HARI RAYA PENTEKOSTA: SEBUAH ANALISIS TEOLOGIS DAN DEVOSIONAL

Abstrak

Penelitian ini membahas peran Roh Kudus dalam kehidupan umat beriman berdasarkan doa-doa liturgis pada Hari Raya Pentekosta melalui pendekatan teologis dan devosional. Hari Raya Pentekosta memiliki makna penting dalam kehidupan Gereja karena menandai pencurahan Roh Kudus kepada para rasul serta menjadi dasar pertumbuhan iman umat Kristen. Doa-doa liturgis yang digunakan dalam perayaan Pentekosta mengandung ajaran teologis yang kaya mengenai karya Roh Kudus sebagai penghibur, pembimbing, pengudus, dan pemberi kekuatan bagi umat beriman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna teologis yang terkandung dalam teks-teks doa liturgi Pentekosta serta relevansinya bagi kehidupan spiritual umat masa kini. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka dan analisis teks liturgi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa doa-doa liturgis Pentekosta tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai unsur peribadatan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pembinaan iman dan kehidupan devosional umat. Melalui doa-doa tersebut, umat diajak untuk mengalami kehadiran Roh Kudus secara nyata dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, sehingga mampu hidup dalam kasih, persatuan, dan kesaksian iman di tengah dunia.

This study discusses the role of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers based on the liturgical prayers of the Feast of Pentecost through theological and devotional approaches. Pentecost holds an important meaning in the life of the Church because it commemorates the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and becomes the foundation for the growth of Christian faith. The liturgical prayers used in the Pentecost celebration contain rich theological teachings concerning the work of the Holy Spirit as comforter, guide, sanctifier, and source of strength for believers. This research aims to analyze the theological meanings contained in the liturgical prayer texts of Pentecost and their relevance to the spiritual life of believers today. The method used is qualitative research with a library study approach and liturgical text analysis. The findings show that Pentecost liturgical prayers function not only as elements of worship but also as means of nurturing faith and devotional life among believers. Through these prayers, believers are invited to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit in their daily lives, enabling them to live in love, unity, and faithful witness in the world.
