ANALISIS ALIH KODE DAN CAMPUR KODE ANTARA PENJUAL DAN PEMBELI DI PASAR PELITA IV MEDAN (KAJIAN SOSIOLINGUISTIK)

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk alih kode dan campur kode di Pasar Pelita IV Medan. Alih kode adalah pengalihan bahasa atau pertukaran bahasa dari satu ragam bahasa pertama ke bahasa lain. Bentuk alih kode terbagi atas dua jenis: alih kode internal dan eksternal. Sedangkan campur kode adalah pencampuran kode (bahasa) dalam satu tuturan percakapan. Bentuk campur kode terbagi atas lima jenis: campur kode bentuk kata, frase, pengulangan kata, klausa dan baster.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan data dalam bentuk kata kemudian ditemukan adanya penggunaan alih kode berupa bentuk internal, sedangkan bentuk campur kode berupa kata dan pengulangan kata.

This research aims to describe the forms of code switching and code mixing at Pasar Pelita IV Medan. Code switching is language transfer or language exchange from one variety of the first language to another. There are two types of code switching: internal and external code switching. Meanwhile, code mixing is mixing codes (language) in one conversational utterance. Code mixing forms are divided into five types: code mixing forms of words, phrases, word repetitions, clauses and mongrels. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach which aims to describe the data in word form and then it is found that there is the use of code switching in the form of internal form, while the form of code mixing is in the form of words and repetition of words.
