ANALISIS PERAN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEAMANAN DAN PERTAHANAN MARITIM

Abstrak

Maritime security and defense are becoming increasingly important issues in the context of globalization and the development of cross-border threats. The perceptions of seafarers and the challenges faced by security personnel are key factors in evaluating the effectiveness of security efforts at sea, while the use of technology and international cooperation play an important role in strengthening the capacity of countries to face increasingly complex maritime threats. This research aims to gain an in-depth understanding of seafarers' perceptions of the level of security at sea, explore the challenges faced by maritime security personnel, and evaluate the role of technology and international cooperation in maintaining maritime security and defense. This research uses a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth interviews with experienced sailors and military leaders related to maritime security. The data obtained was systematically analyzed to identify key findings relating to seafarers' perceptions, security personnel challenges, and the use of technology and international cooperation in maritime operations. The research results show that seafarers' perceptions of the level of security at sea reflect the effectiveness of patrol and surveillance efforts, while lack of coordination and training are the main challenges faced by maritime security personnel. The use of technology, such as ship monitoring and control systems, as well as international cooperation, has made a significant contribution to increasing countries' capabilities in maintaining maritime security and defense.
