Tujuan penelitian ini: untuk menilai tingkat serat kasar (SK), daya cerna bahan kering (KcBK) serta bahan organik (KcBO) In vitro silase berbasis rumput kume (Shorgum plumosum var. Timorens) dengan daun kelor (Moringga oleifera) dengan masing-masing tingkat variasi. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen dengan desain Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang melibatkan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Berikut rincian perlakuan yaitu P0= rumput kume 100%, P1=75% rumput kume + 25% daun kelor, P2= 50% rumput kume + 50% daun kelor, P3= 25% rumput kume + 75% daun kelor. Analisis data hasil penelitian menggunakan Analysis of variance (ANOVA) dilanjutkan dengan uji Least Significant Different (LSD). Hasil rata-rata setiap perlakuan pada penelitian ini serat kasar P0:33,875, P1:27,658%, P2:23,198%, P3:18,352%. Daya cerna bahan kering P0:35,620%, P1:41,372%, P2:51,554%, P3:58,754%. Daya cerna bahan organik P0:34,519%, P1:40,198%, P2:50,066%, P3:58,061%. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan pengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kandunga serat kasar, kecernaan bahan kering, dan kecernaan bahan organik In vitro. Disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi penggunaan level daun kelor pada silase campuran rumput kume semakin menurun kandungan serat kasar namun Daya cerna bahan kering dan bahan organik meningkat
The aim of this research to compare the crude fiber content, in vitro dry matter digestibility, and organic matter digestibility of silage mixtures of Kume grass (Sorghum plumosum var. Timorense) and Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera) at various levels. The experimental method used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. The treatments were P0 = 100% Kume grass (control), P1 = 75% Kume grass + 25% Moringa leaves, P2 = 50% Kume grass + 50% Moringa leaves, and P3 = 25% Kume grass + 75% Moringa leaves.The data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) followed by Least Significant Different (LSD) test. The average results of each treatment showed that crude fiber content was P0: 33.875%, P1: 27.658%, P2: 23.198%, P3: 18.352%. Dry matter digestibility was P0: 35.620%, P1: 41.372%, P2: 51.554%, P3: 58.754%. Organic matter digestibility was P0: 34.519%, P1: 40.198%, P2: 50.066%, P3: 58.061%. Statistical analysis showed that the treatment had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on crude fiber content, dry matter digestibility, and in vitro organic matter digestibility. It can be concluded that the higher the addition of Moringa leaves to Kume grass silage, the lower the crude fiber content but the higher the dry matter and organic matter digestibility.
