PENGARUH PEMBERIAN AIR PERASAN JERUK NIPIS (Citrus Aurantiifiolia) PADA DUA JENIS PAKAN YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP ORGAN PENCERNAAN AYAM BROILER

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian air perasan jeruk nipis pada dua jenis pakan yang berbeda terhadap organ pencernaan ayam broiler. Penelitian ini menggunakan 120 ekor DOC strain CP 707. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap ( RAL) pola faktorial. Faktor pertama yaitu jenis pakan (J), ada 2 jenis pakan komersial (J1= CP, J2=BR). Faktor kedua yaitu level pemberian air perasan jeruk nipis (P), ada 3 level, yaitu P0= 0 ml/kg pakan, P1= 5ml/kg pakan, P2=10ml/kg pakan, P3=15ml/kg pakan). Terdapat 8 kombinasi perlakuan, setiap perlakuan diulang 3 kali, dan setiap ulangan terdapat 5 ekor ayam broiler. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu bobot relatif gizzard, bobot tembolok, bobot usus halus dan panjang usus halus. Analisis data diawali dengan menghitung rata-rata dan standar deviasi kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis Ragam (ANOVA) serta dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan air perasan jeruk nipis kedalam pakan CP dan BR dengan level 0ml, 5ml, 10ml, dan 15ml/kg pakan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot tembolok, bobot gizard, bobot usus halus dan panjang usus halus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian air perasan jeruk sampai level 15ml/kg pakan pada dua jenis pakan komersial tidak memberikan dampak positif.

This study aims to investigate the effect of lime juice and two different types of feed on the intestinal organ of broiler chickens.The research used 120 DOC of CP 707 strain. The method applied in this study is a complete randomized design (CRD) with a factorial pattern. The first factor is the type of feed (J), there were 2 commercial feed (J1=CP, J2=BR). The second factor is the level of lime juice application (P): (P0= Without lime juice, P1= 5ml, P2=10ml , P3=15ml drinking water. There are 8 treatment combinations, each treatment 3 times replication and each repetition consists of 5 broiler chickens. The variables studied include the relative weight of the gizzard the weight of the crop the weight of the small intestine,and the length of the small intestine. Data analysis began with calculating the mean and standard deviation,followed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with duncans test. The results of the statistical analysis indicated that the use of lime juice in the CP and BR feeds at levels of 0ml, 5ml, 10ml, dan 15ml/l drinking water did not have a significant effect (P>0,05) on the weight of the crop, gizzard, small intestine and lenght of the small intestine. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that giving lime juice up to a level of 15ml/kg feed in two types of commercial feed did not make any changes to the intestinal organs in broiler chickens.
